Starfallway Black King Bed

To preserve the luxurious texture and deep color of the black velvet, we recommend regular maintenance using a vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the pleats. For minor spills, our general care recommendation is to blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth; avoid rubbing, which can damage the nap of the fabric. Periodic light steaming can also help lift the pile and maintain the signature sheen of the velvet.

While designed with a contemporary aesthetic in mind, the Starfallway bed is remarkably versatile. The bold black velvet and exquisite pleating act as a sophisticated anchor for various decors, from modern minimalist to "glam" transitional styles. The generously padded headboard doesn't just add a chic visual element; it also serves a functional purpose by providing a supportive, cozy surface for sitting up to read or watch TV in bed.

With a width of 80 inches and a depth of approximately 85 inches, this bed is best suited for a primary bedroom that is at least 12' x 12'. To ensure a comfortable and functional layout, we recommend maintaining 24 to 30 inches of walking space around the sides and the foot of the bed. Its height of 47.75 inches makes it an excellent choice for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings, as it provides a plush, sophisticated focal point without overwhelming the vertical space.

No, this is a platform-style bed designed with a built-in support system that allows your mattress to sit directly on the frame. By eliminating the need for a box spring, this bed maintains a sleek, contemporary low profile and provides a sturdy, flat foundation that is ideal for modern memory foam, hybrid, or innerspring mattresses.

This bed is highly suitable for urban living due to its streamlined platform design and efficient use of space. Because it arrives ready for customer assembly, the individual components are easier to navigate through narrow apartment hallways, stairwells, or elevators than a traditional pre-assembled bed. Its contemporary, low-profile silhouette also helps a smaller room feel more open and less cluttered while still offering the luxury of a king-sized sleeping surface.

The bed is engineered with a wood frame specifically designed to support the significant weight of a king-sized mattress and multiple sleepers. The construction includes a robust internal support system with a center rail and support legs, which are critical for preventing mattress sagging and ensuring the frame remains stable and squeak-free over time.
