Question 1

Is this mattress a good choice for hot sleepers or humid southern climates?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this mattress is expertly engineered for temperature regulation, making it ideal for the high heat and humidity often found in regions like Florida and Texas. It features a cool-to-the-touch cover specifically designed to dissipate heat. Additionally, the construction includes internal ventilation and an AirVent System that utilizes ventilated coils to promote airflow and prevent heat from becoming trapped within the layers of foam.

Question 2

What does a "medium pillow top" mattress feel like in terms of support and comfort?

Accepted Answer

A medium pillow top mattress offers a specialized balance of plush cushioning and deep-down support. While the integrated pillow top provides an immediate soft, "cloud-like" feel, the "medium" designation ensures it maintains a supportive core. This specific model utilizes TEMPUR-Indulge™ Memory Foam for pressure relief alongside an IntelliCoil® innerspring system with latex, which provides the necessary resistance to keep your spine aligned regardless of your sleeping position.

Question 3

What maintenance is required to prevent this pillow top mattress from sagging over time?

Accepted Answer

To maximize the lifespan and maintain the integrity of the pillow top, our care guidelines recommend regular rotation. While this is a one-sided mattress that does not require flipping, rotating it 180 degrees every 3 to 6 months helps distribute wear evenly and prevents permanent body impressions. Additionally, using a completely flat, sturdy foundation is required to ensure total warranty protection and prevent the materials from warping or sagging.

Question 4

How does the coil system in this mattress help with durability and edge support?

Accepted Answer

This mattress is built with a reinforced edge and a proprietary IntelliCoil® innerspring system. These specialized coils are designed to react to varying levels of pressure, providing more support where you need it most. The reinforced edge construction is a hallmark of high-quality engineering, as it prevents the "roll-off" sensation and ensures the mattress maintains its shape and support even when you are sitting or sleeping near the side.

Question 5

Will my standard queen-sized sheets fit this mattress?

Accepted Answer

Because this mattress has a luxury profile height of 16 inches, standard queen sheets may not be deep enough to wrap securely around the corners. Based on our expertise with high-profile bedding, we recommend using "deep pocket" or "extra-deep pocket" sheets specifically designed for mattresses 16 to 18 inches tall. This ensures the fitted sheet remains taut and does not slip off during the night.

Question 6

Does this mattress work well for couples who have different sleeping styles?

Accepted Answer

This mattress is an excellent choice for couples due to its hybrid construction. The combination of TEMPUR-Indulge™ Memory Foam and individually wrapped IntelliCoil® springs is highly effective at absorbing motion. This means that when one partner moves or gets out of bed, the movement is isolated rather than transferred across the surface, allowing the other sleeper to remain undisturbed.
