Question 1

Is a medium tight top mattress suitable for all sleeping positions?

Accepted Answer

A medium tight top provides a versatile, balanced feel that accommodates a wide range of sleepers. The "tight top" refers to a flat, non-quilted surface that provides more immediate access to the support layers compared to a plush pillow top. This specific mattress uses TEMPUR-Indulge™ Memory Foam, which is engineered for high-level pressure relief, making it an excellent choice for side sleepers who need hip and shoulder cushioning, as well as back sleepers who require consistent spinal alignment.

Question 2

What if the mattress feels different than expected once I get it home?

Accepted Answer

It is common for a new luxury mattress to have a "break-in" period. Based on our expertise, we recommend an initial 30-night adjustment period to allow the advanced foam and coil layers to settle and for your body to adapt to the new support system. If you are not satisfied after this period, Rooms To Go offers a 90-night Mattress Sleep Trial, which allows for a one-time exchange between day 30 and day 90 of delivery (exchange fees apply).

Question 3

What are the benefits of the IntelliCoil system and latex used in this mattress?

Accepted Answer

The IntelliCoil® system is a proprietary nested-coil design that provides two levels of support: an outer coil that softens to your body for immediate comfort and a firmer inner coil that engages for deep, adaptive support. When combined with latex—a material known in the industry for its exceptional resilience and natural durability—the result is a mattress that resists sagging and maintains its supportive structure far longer than standard innerspring or foam-only models.

Question 4

What should I consider regarding the height and fit of this mattress?

Accepted Answer

This mattress measures 59.5"w x 79.5"l, adhering to standard queen dimensions. However, it features a luxury high-profile height of 14.5 inches. Before purchasing, we recommend measuring the height of your headboard and ensuring your mattress protector and fitted sheets are designed with "deep pockets" (typically 15 to 18 inches) to properly accommodate the extra loft of this premium design.

Question 5

How does this mattress perform in hot or humid climates?

Accepted Answer

This mattress is specifically designed with cooling technologies that are highly effective in the warm and humid climates of regions like Florida, Texas, and the Southeast. It features a specialized cool-to-the-touch cover and a ventilated edge construction to promote continuous airflow. Because it is a hybrid model, the IntelliCoil® innerspring system and resilient latex layers allow for significantly more breathability and heat dissipation than traditional all-foam mattresses, helping you maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature all night.

Question 6

Is this mattress a good choice for couples who have different sleep schedules?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this mattress is highly effective at minimizing sleep disturbances between partners. The integration of TEMPUR-Indulge™ Memory Foam provides superior motion isolation, absorbing energy so that movement on one side of the bed does not transfer to the other. Additionally, the reinforced ventilated edge ensures the mattress remains stable and supportive even at the very edge, maximizing the usable sleep surface for both individuals.
