Faux leather, such as the polyurethane used on this seat, is an excellent choice for families. It provides the sophisticated look of leather while being significantly easier to maintain. Based on our furniture care expertise, we recommend simply wiping the surface with mild soap and warm water to remove spills or stains. This material is resistant to moisture and does not require the frequent conditioning associated with genuine leather.

This product is sold as a set of two. To determine the total number of stools for your space, we suggest measuring the length of your island and allowing for 26 to 30 inches of space between the centers of each stool. Since each stool has a width of 17.75 inches, two sets (four stools) typically fit a standard 8-to-10-foot island comfortably without feeling overcrowded.

This stool is particularly well-suited for urban apartment living or smaller floor plans. Applying a protective felt or rubber ring to the bottom of the base can prevent direct contact with hardwood or luxury vinyl flooring. Customer assembly is required for this set. However, the pedestal design generally simplifies the process compared to more complex furniture. We provide all necessary hardware, and we recommend assembling the stools on a soft surface, like a rug, to protect the black finish of the frame and the cream upholstery during the setup process.
