    What is the 365 night sleep trial?

    One of the incredible things about all of our mattresses is that each of them comes with a 365 day trial period, three times longer than most other trials in the industry. This means that you’ll have a full year from the day your mattress is delivered to see if the Nectar is right for you. We encourage you to take the first 30 days to get to know your new mattress, as it can take this long for your body to adjust to the support and comfort of the Nectar. Should you find it’s not a perfect fit, some photographic evidence may be required to process your return.

    Where are Nectar products manufactured?

    In order to provide our customer's with their best night's sleep, Nectar has evaluated and selected the best possible materials from around the world. We have a diversified supply chain, and our products are sourced and manufactured in places such as Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Mexico and the USA with the utmost safety and sanitary measures in place.

    Shouldn’t I try the Nectar mattress before I buy it?

    We definitely think you should try out the Nectar mattress, but why not try Nectar where it matters: in your own home! We offer a risk-free, 365-Night sleep trial with every mattress, so you can snore, snooze, and snuggle on a Nectar through all 4 seasons. We think it’s the best way to make sure your new mattress hits the sweet spot for your sleep.

    Why does Nectar cost so much less than other mattresses?

    We believe great sleep should be accessible to everyone! That’s why we paid just as much attention to the final cost as we did to sourcing innovative fabrics and top-of-the-line materials while building the Nectar mattress. And it’s why we continue to work closely with our manufacturing, shipping, and retail partners to keep prices low. We really do pass those savings right on to you.

    Where does Nectar ship from?

    Nectar ships from one of our many distribution centers located within the United States. Expected ship times may vary by product.

    How can Nectar offer a Forever Warranty™ while other companies only offer 10 or 15 years?

    Simple. We know buying a mattress is a major purchase, and we believe the quality of your new bed should match your investment. That’s why we stand behind our mattresses and provide you with a Forever Warranty™, not just 10 years.

    What kind of material is Nectar made from?

    We formulated the Nectar Mattress with 5 layers: first, a quilted poly-blend cover with polyethylene, which provides that cool-to-the-touch sensation to help keep you cool during the night; then, 3 inches of gel memory foam followed by 2 inches of soft transition foam, and 7 inches of supportive base layer foam; finally a bottom cover to secure all of the layers above tightly together. The Nectar mattress has been specifically designed to create the perfect balance of firm support and soft, cradling comfort. Additionally, all of the foams used in the Nectar mattress are CertiPUR-US® certified.

    Can the Nectar mattress be folded for transport?

    Nectar’s initial compression process to get it in the box and shipped straight to your door uses roller presses which provide the approximate force of 1000lbs per square inch in order to compress your Nectar to be ready for vacuum-packing. Once it has expanded, we do not advise folding it for travel as it wasn’t designed to be refolded in its decompressed state.

    Are the foams in the Nectar mattress CertiPUR-US® Certified?

    All the foams we’ve used to create the Nectar Mattress meet CertiPUR-US® standards for content, emissions, and durability, and are analyzed by independent, accredited laboratories. Nectar’s foams are free of ozone depleters, TCEP flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates. Our foams have also shown low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality.

    Can I clean Nectar’s Cover?

    For spills and light accidents, we recommend spot cleaning the cover as soon as the spill or stain occurs with a damp cloth and mild detergent or hand soap taking care not to let liquid reach the underlying foam layers. For bigger or deeper set stains, an upholstery or spot cleaner or cleaning device would work well but we do not recommend removing the mattress cover entirely as the underlying foam mattress layers may get damaged in the process. If you do remove the cover, we strongly advise against moving the mattress, adding any liquids or other environmental substances to it or in any way disturbing the foam layers if the cover is off. Removing the cover will also void all warranties. Keeping the cover intact will help protect the integrity of the mattress so that you may enjoy amazing sleep for years to come. For an easier method of keeping your mattress clean we strongly advise the use of a stain and water-resistant mattress protector (such as the ones we have available for purchase on our site) which may be removed and laundered from time to time and will keep your Nectar mattress in tip top condition!

    What forms of payment are accepted?

    We accept American Express, Visa, Matercard, and Discover, and happily extend financing options via Affirm and SplitIt. We also accept Amazon Pay and PayPal. We do not currently accept any pre-paid credit cards.

    What is the shipping weight of the Nectar mattress?

    Nectar weights range from 40lbs (Twin) to 83 lbs (CalKing). Nectar may be slightly heavier than other direct to consumer mattresses, but it is built with better, heavier and more durable materials and we think that this is the right way to construct a mattress.

    Can you ship internationally?

    We currently only ship to the contiguous United States, not including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, etc. We do, however, ship to Alaska and Hawaii for an additional $150 per large item ordered. Shipping fees for products that have been delivered to an address in Alaska and Hawaii are non-refundable.

    How much does shipping cost?

    Shipping is always free within the contiguous United States, whether to purchase or return a Nectar. There are additional shipping costs to Alaska and Hawaii ($150 per large item ordered).     Do you permit exchanges?

    Traditional exchanges are handled by returning the original mattress through our returns process. It’s up to you if you’d like to purchase your replacement before receiving the refund for your return. If there is damage to your Nectar, let us know and we’ll work with you to figure out next steps.

    Do I need to keep any of the packing materials?

    There's absolutely no need to keep any of the packing materials once you have unpacked your Nectar. If at any point during your trial you decide that the Nectar isn't quite right for you, don't worry about getting it back into its original box.     Do I need to pay to return my Nectar?

    Returns, as always, are free if you are in the contiguous U.S. If you are outside of the U.S. a delivery charge is added at checkout, but a return is still free.

    What if the mattress compresses and forms impressions?

    No need to worry since Nectar’s Forever Warranty™ has you covered! If impressions are 1.5 inches or more, we will replace Nectar for free.

    Can I purchase a replacement Nectar mattress cover?

    We don’t currently offer replacement covers for sale, however, that is something we are working on in the future. If you're experiencing an issue with your Nectar mattress cover, please contact our Customer Care team and we'll help figure out what options are available.

    What is Affirm?

    Affirm is a financing alternative to credit cards and other credit payment products. Affirm offers real-time financing for purchases online. With Affirm, you can buy and receive your purchase now, and pay for it in fixed monthly installments from 3 to 24 months. For example, instead of $1,500 up front, pay only $63 a month at 0% APR over 24 months. A down payment may be required.

    How does Affirm work?

    Here are the steps in the Affirm loan application process:

    1. Select to pay with Affirm at checkout.

    2. Affirm will prompt you to enter a few pieces of information – your name, email, mobile phone number, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number. Please ensure that all of this information is your own and is consistent information otherwise you may experience difficulty with your checkout.

    3. To ensure that you’re the person making the purchase, Affirm will send a text message to your cell phone with a unique authorization code.

    4. Enter the authorization code into the application form.

    5. Within a few seconds, Affirm will notify you of the loan amount you’re approved for, the interest rate, and the number of months you will have to pay off your loan. You will have the option to choose to pay off your loan over time. Affirm will also state the amount of your fixed, monthly payments and the total amount of interest you’ll pay over the course of the loan.

    6. If you would like to accept Affirm’s financing offer, click “Confirm Loan” and you’re done.

    Going forward, you’ll get monthly email and SMS reminders about your upcoming payments. You can also set up autopay to avoid missing a payment. Your first monthly payment will be due 30 days from the date we the merchant completes processing your order.

    Which mattress size is best?

    There is no “Best” bed size, only what’s best for you. Take into account how big your bedroom is, how much walking distance you need around the bed, furniture in the room, and how much space you need when you sleep (ie, do you sleep curled up like a baby, or like to stretch out!). Also keep in mind if you are single or share a bed with a partner and/or pet. While you need enough space, the most important consideration for your rest is sleeping on a comfortable and supportive mattress.     What size bed do most couples have?

    Most couples choose to have a King or California King sized bed based on preference for more space for each person. However since space can be limited, the next most favorable bed size for couples is a Queen. Anything smaller than a Queen size is going to be a tight squeeze for two, and you will feel each other moving around at night. A King size Nectar memory foam mattress reduces motion transfer significantly and provides ample space, so you'll get a great night’s sleep even when sharing your bed with partners and/or pets.

    What size bed should I get for my room?

    Does bed size affect marriage?

    Some couples like to sleep in a smaller bed to feel close and cuddly, while others prefer a little space. Sleeping well with your partner is helpful for all couples. Feeling your partner toss and turn, or feeling crammed into bed, won’t be fun for anyone. When you wake up well-rested, you're more likely to have better days with your partner which can help you have a happy, healthy marriage. With a bed like Nectar, which helps reduce motion transfer and has a quilted cooling cover, you and your partner will be well-rested every day!

    When can I expect to receive my delivery?

    Once our local delivery agent has received your complete order, you’ll be contacted to select a convenient 2-hour delivery and setup window. You can expect delivery of your items within 1-3 business days after you have been contacted. Our Premium In-Home Setup typically adds at least 1-2 business days to the delivery time.

    How much is Premium In-Home Setup?

    $199 covers Premium In-Home Setup of two items. Each additional item is $49. You’ll have the option to have your existing mattress removed.

    What is Premium In-Home Setup?

    With our Premium In-Home Setup your order will ship directly to a local service provider in your area within the estimated date given at the time of your order. You’ll be contacted within 1-3 business days to schedule a delivery date and time that works best for you. Set up and removal of your old mattress will be completed by our provider, so you can relax.
