I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Rooms To Go in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On May 1, 2026, I purchased a complete bedroom set from the store located in Baton Rouge, LA on Seigen Lane, including a king-size bed, mattress, two bunky boards, two nightstands, and two lamps. Within approximately two weeks of delivery, the bed began squeaking excessively. Every movement during the night resulted in loud squeaking, making it difficult to sleep and significantly affecting my comfort and satisfaction with the purchase. I returned to the store seeking assistance and hoping for a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, the experience that followed was frustrating and disappointing. Rather than feeling heard as a customer, I felt that my concerns were dismissed. I was told by one of the managers, Keith Arcemont, that it appeared I was attempting to return the bed simply because I did not like it, rather than because of a legitimate defect or problem. As a customer who invested a significant amount of money in this furniture, I found that accusation both inappropriate and terribly insulting. The situation became even more frustrating due to conflicting information provided by Rooms To Go employees. Because technicians do not work weekends, scheduling an inspection was difficult for someone who works during the week. Eventually, another representative came to inspect the bed and informed me that the bed should not have been assembled with bunky boards and should have had only a box spring. However, when I returned to the store, both the salesperson who sold me the furniture and the manager stated that the bunky boards were the correct components for the bed. As the customer, I was left in the middle receiving contradictory information from different Rooms To Go representatives. What disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism, empathy, and customer care shown when I attempted to address a legitimate concern. I was not seeking special treatment—I simply wanted a resolution to a problem with a recently purchased bed. Based on this experience, I have lost confidence in Rooms To Go's customer service and management. I cannot recommend this location to others and will not be making future purchases from Rooms To Go. I have also shared my experience with family and friends so they can make informed decisions before shopping there. I hope corporate leadership reviews customer concerns carefully and takes steps to improve both customer service and communication so that future customers are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.

Hilda was very helpful. She showed me a living room set and bedroom set. She told me about the special financing that was going on. I’ll definitely be back to see her.
