Went in to day for the black Friday specials. They were offering coupons based on how much you spent. We had made a purchase of $1000 which included a $75 coupon. When I asked for the discount they refused to accept their own coupon. The reason given was that my purchase did not qualify for the discount when the coupon clearly said $75 off with any purchase, period. We walked out with nothing. They lost a $1000 sale. This people really thinks that they are the only furniture store around.

BED BUGS! Do NOT buy from this Rooms To Go Outlet. I purchased a sectional from the Rooms To Go Outlet in Charlotte. I picked it up on November 21st, and within days I discovered a dead adult bed bug hidden inside the mechanical cavity of the couch. I have photo evidence and I saved the actual specimen. When I contacted the store, they refused to help and tried to blame me, even though the bug was found in a location that is impossible to access unless the reclining motor is powered and moving. The store had claimed the couch “wasn’t working” when I bought it — meaning they could NOT have inspected the area where the bug was found. Their explanation was contradictory and dishonest. I have no other signs of bed bugs in my home, no bites, and no bugs anywhere except the sectional they sold me. This is a health and sanitation violation, not a small issue. Rooms To Go Outlet refused to take responsibility for selling contaminated furniture. I have now filed complaints with the North Carolina Attorney General, BBB, and my credit card company. This experience has been completely unacceptable. Selling infested furniture and then refusing to stand behind the product is beyond unprofessional — it’s unsafe. Avoid this store at all costs.
