DO NOT HIRE JAZZ AKA RIL TRANSPORTATION TO MOVE YOUR FURNITURE. Rooms To Go was great, made the process easy, and was helpful to us purchasing a couch from them. Unfortunately they do not deliver couches that aren’t new from the outlet, so they have a few referrals. They will give you a list of three guys that can help with the delivery. Their main go-to guy for third party deliveries, was a guy named Jazz, aka RIL Transportation which is what is written in the referral sheet they give you. I was a bit sketched out at first, being that it was booking over text, no email confirmation, just a quote, and very abrupt responses through messages from the guy. If the Rooms To Go worker that sold us the couch hadn’t said he was their “go to guy”, I wouldn’t have went through with it. Well, I had set a date for a week later and confirmed it with Jazz for pickup and delivery, and when the time came, I showed up at the agreed time. I sent him a text saying I was there, only for him to tell me that he is no longer doing the delivery. No notice beforehand, no nothing. He just bails once it was time to do the delivery. I don’t know what he has going on at the moment, but it was extremely unprofessional because I was given zero heads up whatsoever, all the way up until the meet time. He wouldn’t have said a word had I not texted him, and just have been a no call, no show. I scrambled and managed to find an actual company to move my couch SAME-DAY, because that day was the only day I could do it, after moving to a new place the day previously, and they can only hold the couch at Rooms To Go for a few days. So I was completely left out to dry. So I will say again, if you are getting a couch from Rooms To Go outlets and need help with delivery, DO NOT CALL RIL TRANSPORTATION aka JAZZ. No actual professional does a no call, no show like that. They had two other guys who seemed reasonable, and were trying to make it work as a same-day move, but I couldn’t wait and had to just find an actual company to do it. That’s the other thing, is these guys that Rooms To Go refers, have company sounding names they go by, but there is absolutely no digital footprint for them. You can’t find them online, which honestly seems sketchy to me. Which is why I have to leave this review for RIL Transportation on the Rooms To Go google page since they recommended him, but were great otherwise. The two other guys may do good work and didn’t seem to be too pricey, but if I were you I may just try to book an actual company you can find online, early on, so that way they actually have some desire to show professionalism and manners since it will reflect back on them online.
