From the moment you lie down, organic latex cradles your body — buoyant, breathable, and never heat-trapping like memory foam. Premium models layer in silky-soft Pure Talalay® latex for an even plusher feel.
Up to twice as many coils as conventional designs, with up to seven ergonomic zones, deliver targeted spinal alignment and reinforced edge support. Avocado manufactures every coil in-house using recycled steel.
Breathable organic cotton, moisture-wicking wool, and open-air latex promote airflow through every layer. The recycled-steel coil system adds ventilation that conventional foam mattresses can't match — for cool, dry sleep all night long.
Every Avocado mattress holds GOTS finished-product certification — the standard for fully certified organic mattresses, not just one material inside it.
This time-honored technique enhances durability and long-term comfort. It's why an Avocado mattress feels as good in year ten as it did the night you unboxed it.
Hand needle-tufting eliminates the chemical adhesives most mattresses depend on, creating a bond that holds for decades. Adult mattresses are backed by limited warranties of up to 25 years.
A GOTS finished-product and PFAS-tested, this waterproof mattress protector features two-layer organic cotton with a plant based, cornstarch-derived barrier for real liquid protection that keeps the mattress clean and warranty-eligible.

Is this organic cotton protector suitable for hot sleepers or humid climates?
Yes. For those living in warmer or humid environments, breathability is essential for a comfortable night's rest. This protector utilizes GOTS-certified organic cotton, a fiber naturally prized for its moisture-wicking and breathable properties. By using a cornstarch-derived barrier rather than a thick synthetic laminate, the protector allows for superior airflow, helping to regulate your temperature and prevent the "sleeping hot" sensation often associated with waterproof bedding.
Why is using a waterproof protector necessary for maintaining a mattress warranty?
Maintaining a pristine, stain-free mattress is a standard requirement for most manufacturer warranties. Even minor spills or moisture from perspiration can seep into the comfort layers, potentially voiding your coverage. This protector’s plant-based barrier provides a reliable, waterproof shield that keeps the mattress clean and ensures your investment remains eligible for warranty claims over its lifetime.
Is this protector durable enough for a household with pets or young children?
Absolutely. While many organic products are perceived as delicate, this protector is engineered for high-performance liquid protection. The two-layer organic cotton construction is robust enough to handle the daily rigors of a busy household, while the cornstarch-derived barrier effectively blocks accidents and spills. It offers a practical, high-quality solution for families and pet owners who refuse to sacrifice material safety for durability.
How does this protector contribute to a non-toxic sleep environment?
This product is an excellent choice for health-conscious shoppers and those with chemical sensitivities. It is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) finished-product certified and has been rigorously PFAS-tested to ensure it is free from "forever chemicals." By opting for organic cotton and a plant-based waterproof barrier over PVC, vinyl, or phthalate-heavy materials, you are ensuring a cleaner, safer sleep surface for your home.
Will this California King mattress protector feel crinkly or make noise during the night?
No, this protector is designed for silent, undisturbed comfort. Unlike traditional plastic or vinyl covers that produce a "crinkling" sound when you move, this model features a soft, two-layer organic cotton surface. The internal waterproof barrier is derived from plant-based cornstarch, providing a flexible and quiet layer that protects your bed without compromising your sleep quality.
Will this protector fit a thick or pillow-top California King mattress?
This protector is specifically tailored for California King dimensions (72"w x 84"l) and accommodates mattresses with a profile of up to 15 inches. This ensures a secure, snug fit for standard and many deep-profile mattresses, preventing the cover from bunching or slipping—a common issue that can disrupt your sleep and cause unnecessary wear on the fabric.
