Question 1

How thick is this queen mattress, and what type of fitted sheets are needed?

Accepted Answer

The mattress measures 60 inches wide, 79.5 inches long, and has a 13-inch profile height. Because of the substantial 13-inch depth created by its multi-layer hybrid build, standard to deep-pocket queen fitted sheets (designed for mattresses 14 to 16 inches deep) are recommended to ensure full corner coverage and prevent corners from slipping off.

Question 2

What makes this mattress effective for side and back sleepers needing pressure relief?

Accepted Answer

The mattress utilizes a proprietary ContourFit Design that brings the sleeper close to the specialty foam comfort layers. High-density Plushform HD Foam and Beautyrest Gel Memory Foam actively conform to broader pressure points like the hips and shoulders, relieving tension. Beneath the foam, the 800 independent pocketed coils adjust to the curves of the lower back and spine, helping keep the body in neutral alignment throughout the night.

Question 3

What cooling technologies does this hybrid mattress include for hot sleepers?

Accepted Answer

This hybrid mattress incorporates multiple heat-dissipating and breathable layers to maintain a comfortable sleep temperature. It features GelTouch Foam to promote steady airflow and breathability, alongside gel-infused Plushform HD Foam and Beautyrest Gel Memory Foam that draw heat away from the body. Additionally, the open structure of the 800-series pocketed coil core allows air to circulate freely throughout the interior, preventing the heat retention common in all-foam mattresses.

Question 4

Does this mattress need to be flipped, or should it only be rotated?

Accepted Answer

This mattress is designed with a single-sided construction, featuring a dedicated coil base at the bottom and comfort foams with the ContourFit cover on top, meaning it should never be flipped over. To ensure even wear and maximize the lifespan of the specialty comfort foams, rotate the mattress 180 degrees from head to foot every three to six months.

Question 5

Can this hybrid mattress be used on an adjustable bed base?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this mattress is fully compatible with adjustable power foundations. The individual pocketed coil system and flexible foam layers are engineered to bend smoothly with head-up and foot-up articulations without damaging the internal coil structure, bunching the comfort foams, or compromising the 13-inch overall profile.

Question 6

How does this queen hybrid mattress isolate motion between sleep partners?

Accepted Answer

Motion isolation is handled by the 800 Series Beautyrest Pocketed Coil Technology. Because each steel coil is individually wrapped in fabric rather than physically wired together, each spring responds independently to localized pressure. Coupled with motion-dampening layers of high-density Plushform HD Foam and Beautyrest Gel Memory Foam, movement from shifting or getting out of bed stays isolated to one side of the 60-inch by 79.5-inch queen sleeping surface.
