Beautyrest Deep Sleep Hybrid Split King Mattress Set with Head Up Only Base

This mattress features a flexible hybrid construction engineered to articulate smoothly on an adjustable base. It pairs 800 Series Beautyrest Pocketed Coil Technology with multiple pressure-relieving foam layers, including Beautyrest Gel Memory Foam, breathable GelTouch Foam, and high-density, gel-infused Plushform HD Foam. The patented ContourFit Design allows the 13-inch mattress to bend naturally without bunching or compromising the durability of the internal coils, delivering contouring support and cooling airflow at any angle.

Each individual mattress measures 38 inches wide by 79.5 inches deep with a 13-inch height, and each adjustable base measures 37.5 inches wide by 80 inches deep by 15 inches high. Placed side by side, the two units create a standard king footprint of approximately 76 inches wide by 80 inches deep, with a combined floor-to-mattress-top height of 28 inches.

The split king design maximizes motion isolation by physically dividing the sleep surface into two independent Twin XL mattresses on separate adjustable bases. Combined with the individually wrapped 800 Series Pocketed Coils, movement on one side is isolated at the source, ensuring that one partner adjusting their head elevation, shifting positions, or getting in and out of bed will not transfer motion across the mattress.

The set includes two RTG Sleep 2900 adjustable bases equipped with head-up articulation operated via independent wireless remotes. This motorized mechanism allows you and your partner to independently raise or lower the head section of your respective sides to customize your elevation for sleeping, reading, or relaxing in bed.

Because a split king consists of two separate sleep surfaces, it requires two Twin XL fitted sheets (each mattress measures 38 inches wide by 79.5 inches long) paired with a standard King flat sheet, blanket, or comforter. Due to the 13-inch mattress profile, deep-pocket fitted sheets with strong all-around elastic are recommended to prevent the corners from slipping off when the head of the bed is elevated.

Raising the head of the mattress helps keep airways open to reduce snoring and can alleviate symptoms of acid reflux by keeping stomach acid from traveling upward. It also relieves strain on the neck, shoulders, and upper back, creating an ergonomic angle for watching TV, working on a laptop, or resting comfortably.
