Rooms to Go sold us on the Fortegra insurance. They told us it was a breeze filing a claim for issues with your furniture and having them replaced within the 3 year window. We’ve filed 2 claims with a multitude of reasons to have our furniture fixed. Torn upholstery, ripped along the seam, our zipper is broken, foam on the inside is ruined, etc. the couch is nearly 3 years old - it’s seen better days. Not one claim has been approved. For example, fortegra insurance covers all rips in your cushions UNLESS it’s at the seams. That’s exactly where it’s going to rip first. Our zipper is torn and we can’t even zip up our cushion yet it’s not enough to be sent a replacement. The tech that Rooms-to-go sent us let us know we would be approved for the replacements and to keep an eye out for the email regarding the shipping. Even the tech wasn’t aware fortegra didn’t cover rips at the seams or he wouldn’t have told us we were going to be approved. Within 3 days our claim was denied. They’ve fought tooth and nail to deny our claims when we don’t even have a functional couch any more. Shop at rooms to go, I couldn’t care less. Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase anything involving their fortegra insurance. It’s an absolute scam and they will do whatever they can to deny your claims.

This review is regarding the sales person who sold me my furniture. I just purchased living room furniture from Sybrina Augustine at the Rooms To Go location in Clearwater. I cannot express how kind, informative and patient she was with me. She helped me twice in the same day as I was also purchasing a bed from the kids department. Sybrina introduced me to Tatianna in the kids department and I was able to purchase the bed from her. Afterwards, she wrote up my living room purchase and was beyond kind when we hit a glitch with my bank on a Saturday. She actually worked with me from her home on her day off the next business day so that I could place my order. Sabrina was well informed and explained warranty opportunities and deliver options and was able to give me clear concise answers to all of my questions regarding the furniture I was purchasing. She is truly a gem. I am excited to have my purchase delivered and would purchase from Sybrina again.
