have been a Rooms To Go customer for over six years, and until recently, I have been highly satisfied with every purchase. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been extremely disappointing. Almost a year ago, I purchased a sectional sofa. While it was inexpensive, that should not affect the overall quality. Recently, a dark thread line has become very visible through one of the chaise lounge cushions. Because the fabric is an extremely light color, the thread line stands out and is very noticeable and unattractive. I initially contacted Guardian, as I had purchased a protection plan, but was told the issue was not covered. I then received a call from Rooms To Go Customer Service informing me that the sofa was still under the manufacturer’s warranty, and they sent a service technician to inspect it. The technician explained that different colored threads were used in manufacturing, and over time the darker thread is now showing through the lighter fabric. He stated there was nothing he could do to repair it. When I followed up again with Customer Service to ask what could be done, I was told the issue was considered “normal wear and tear.” I find that very hard to accept given that the furniture is less than a year old. In my opinion, visible thread lines showing through within a year should not be considered normal. Customers should be informed at the time of purchase that thread lines may become visible due to normal wear, especially on very light-colored furniture. Had I known this was a possibility within such a short timeframe, I would have chosen a different set. As a loyal customer of more than six years, I expected a different resolution — ideally, for the furniture to be picked up and replaced while still under warranty. Instead, I was left frustrated and disappointed by how this situation was handled. It’s unfortunate, because I have been very happy with all of my previous purchases. However, based on this experience and the lack of satisfactory customer service, I do not plan on returning to Rooms To Go in the future.

Walked in browsing for a dining room table. Plenty of options and no pressure from the sales staff. We found a table and chair set with a bench at a very reasonable price.
