Buyer beware . We had a very negative experience with Rooms to Go Virginia Beach, Virginia . We went there to buy a recliner set. We were misled by the saleswoman , who told us we needed only one battery per sofa set. On the day of the delivery, we find out we need a battery for each seat and not for each sofa. It means we need to buy an extra 3 batteries for the cost of $660 + taxes.$700 We contacted the seller, no response. We contacted the store manager, who sent us to the district manager, who was supposed to contact us again after she talked to the corporate. Never heard anymore from her either.It seems like she has no power to take any commercial gesture for their misleading information that they used to close for a deal over $4000 Unbelievable but Rooms to go prefers to ignore their mistake rather than do anything to please their customer after they told us lies about the product. Before we decided to go with Rooms to Go, we read negative feedback about the service after-sales from previous customers. it was a huge mistake on our part to decide to go and visit their showrooms. It is really true that Rooms to Go does nothing to fix their errors. Those bad feedbacks are still following them. A real disappointment, and we will never buy from them again. A good store should follow up on the after-sales service, furthermore when a mistake was made by them. They ignore their customers completely.I guess it is their policy.
