We were greeted when we went in, we were able to look for what we needed and got immediate assistance when we asked. Both times we‘ve purchased furniture or lamps from Rooms to Go has been great.

I had looked online at R2G and decided on purchasing a desk for my daughter from the children’s section. The website wanted me to pay for delivery, which I didn’t like because I have a truck (and I don’t need “professional installation”). I went into this store on 12/9/25 at around 1:00 to see if I could purchase it there and pickup from a local warehouse. I walked into the children’s section, no one was around. I walked an entire circle through the store and couldn’t find a free salesperson. Finally I just politely asked a salesperson on his phone if they could page someone to the children’s section. I walked back to the children’s section. I finally heard them page someone to the children’s section and out of nowhere walks a tall white salesman. I explain the above and he verbalized that he understood why I was there. After I give him my personal information, billing address, etc., he gave me the price and it was $75~ more than I was going to pay on the website after taxes/shipping. So I ask him about the shipping price, and he said “oh, I’m sorry I neglected to mention that, over $1,000, you have to pay shipping because everything comes from Tennessee”. I was taken aback by this omission and still unsure why it was $75 more dollars in the store. So I decided to take my card back and tell him I’m going to buy it online. At this point he gives me an unbearable level of attitude. I could only surmise that it was because I was taking my business out of the store and taking away some commission or something. Even as I was leaving I could hear him mumble obscenities under his breath. Ridiculous encounter. On top of this, it was the second time I had come in the store. The first time, all of the salespeople were busy too. I didn’t get any greetings to my wife or me, and we left to go buy it online. lol full circle I need to reiterate that he straight up lied by omitting the shipping charge. I very clearly explained the reason I was in the store, and he ready to charge my card anyway without breaking down the full amount he was going to put on my bank account.
