I purchased a sectional from Rooms To Go along with a 3-year extended warranty, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. Within the first year, the recliner failed and had to be replaced. I was told this resolved my warranty, which makes no sense given I paid for a 3-year protection plan. I also had to pay out of pocket to replace a manual component with an electric one because it was nearly impossible to operate—even the service technician acknowledged this. Now facing a second issue within the same timeframe, I feel the warranty has not been honored as promised. For a company of this size, I expected better product quality and, more importantly, accountability. I have filed formal complaints due to the lack of resolution. Buyers should be aware that the extended warranty may not provide the protection you expect.
