We felt misled by this store. My mom does not speak English, and it truly feels like that was taken advantage of. We trusted the salesperson because we believed this was a professional company, but after reviewing the invoice, we discovered items and services were added without our consent. We went in only to buy a sofa and were very clear that we wanted delivery only—no assembly. We agreed only to the sofa insurance. Despite this, they added a rug, non-slip rug pad, and assembly service that were never requested. When we returned in person, the manager refunded the rug and pad but refused to refund the assembly, even though we explicitly declined it. We were forced to pay for something we never asked for. This feels like a sales practice focused on commission, not honesty, and adding charges without clear consent—especially with a language barrier—is unacceptable. The delivery driver was kind and professional; this issue is entirely with the sales process and lack of transparency. Unless the assembly fee is refunded, we will not return and do not recommend this store.
