Customer Store Reviews
4.6 out of 5 stars
I recently purchased the Sutterfield Beige Woven 5-Piece Sectional from the Rooms To Go Perimeter showroom and had a very disappointing experience. During my visit, I sat down with the salesman, Eric P., and we discussed delivery options. He specifically asked, "How does July 11th sound for delivery?" I replied that it was perfect since it was the day before my birthday. Based on that conversation, I completed the purchase and left the store confident that my furniture would be delivered on July 11th. Once I got home and reviewed my paperwork, I discovered that the delivery date was actually listed as July 18th, a full week later than what we had discussed. Since the store was already closed, I called the next morning. The receptionist informed me the store was not even open yet, staff was in a meeting, but I asked that Eric be given my number and have him call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a call. The following day, I called again and was able to speak with Eric directly. I explained the situation and he told me he would look into it and call me back. Once again, I never received a return call. I will say that when I called back later, the receptionist was very helpful. She took the time to investigate the issue and followed up with me. She explained that there were no delivery openings available on July 11th and that the delivery date would have to remain July 18th. My frustration isn't necessarily with the delivery availability—it's with the lack of communication and follow-through. Had I been told from the beginning that July 18th was the earliest available date, I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I was led to believe my furniture would arrive on July 11th. To make matters worse, I have a birthday vacation planned, so now I'm left wondering who is supposed to be available to receive the delivery on July 18th. I was actually considering purchasing the matching ottoman as well, but after experiencing this level of customer service, I'm now reconsidering whether I should keep the sectional order at all and may explore other options. Customer service doesn't end when the sale is made, and unfortunately, that has been my experience with this location. Rating: 2/5 stars ⭐⭐☆☆☆ The receptionist was helpful, but the poor communication and lack of follow-up from the salesperson left me very disappointed.
Marlene was great!! I appreciate how patient she was while explaining the coil counts and sharing the details on the different types of mattresses. Very happy with my purchase!
This Rooms to Go store in the metro area is the best . Marlene, the salesperson, is particularly exceptional. She was patient, so friendly, and knowledgeable, made my experience amazing and my purchase easy, enjoyable, and stress-free.
