DONT BUY FROM RTG.. I have been a good customer of theirs for years. When we got our house I bought all new furniture n have sent numerous friends n family to them. A year n 5 months ago I bought a Cindy crawford leather sofa n chair from them...everything has been fine until now. A small area on the chair has gotten worse. When I called to see if someone could come n look at it and see its a defect ...they refused to help. I 900 for the chair on sale.. So dont waste your time ir money with them. They dont care about helping When there is an issue...so word of advice shop Havertys...Ashley any where but RTG...THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS....
This is the worst experience ever, we purchased a set of dinning and living room sofas from rooms to go last year January, the sales person (Aaron) and his colleague convinced us on getting the 3 year warranty that will include cleaning and damage repairs because we have little kids. We didn’t want to but they managed to convince us and we went for it based on all we were told about cleaning and repairs. Claim time last year December, called in for stains on my sofas and dining chairs and broken arm rest, claim got rejected (my plan does not cover stains) I called in to ask what was going on as I have 3 years warranty purchased and they changed the story to they don’t take care of accumulated stains, I was not told this at the point of sales, Aaron said call anytime they will come, why did he leave out the fact that no accumulated stains rather call them everyday to come clean like I don’t have a life of my own but to keep waiting for a cleaning service to come my house daily. I requested for full refund, they said they can only prorate my refund. I went to the store and met with Aaron and the manager Karen Rose, she offered to reach out to someone in the higher office for a full refund and requested I send a mail to her for follow up, it took her weeks to respond after 2 mails to her and then she said someone will call me, 8 days later I got the call and the lady said no full refund they will prorate, I said okay I want to be done with this, my warranty cost $250 for 3years, this year march make it 1 yr and 2 months, I can’t believe they refunded $36 back to me out of $250 for a 3years warranty without fixing or cleaning anything at all since purchase. Scam, stealing and theft all in one. Never will I visit any rooms to go. Terrible experience! Beware of the scammers disguised as sales persons.
