I am posting this in the hope that @RoomsToGo corporate leadership reviews it. I recently purchased a sofa and loveseat from this location. After returning home, I went online to check product dimensions and discovered — unintentionally — that I had been charged $235 (approximately 7%) more than the listed price. With tax, the overcharge totaled $254.60. I contacted the store next day as it was after business hours when i discovered the error. The manager acknowledged it was a “mistake” and refunded the $254.60. While I appreciate that the amount was returned once identified, the larger issue remains unresolved: the discrepancy was not caught by the store — it was caught by me. Had I not independently verified pricing online, I would have unknowingly paid hundreds of dollars more. Customers rely on in-store representatives and point-of-sale systems to ensure pricing accuracy. A variance of this magnitude raises legitimate concerns about pricing controls, oversight, and quality assurance at this location. A refund corrects the transaction; it does not restore confidence. I would welcome a response from corporate leadership addressing: • How this occurred • What safeguards are in place to prevent similar discrepancies • What steps are being taken to ensure customers are not overcharged Until there is clarity on these issues, I would advise customers to double-check pricing carefully before completing their purchase. Rooms To Go is good for decent quality, modest priced furniture. I have ordered several pieces and would say that quality, style, materials, manufacture, etc., are commensurate with the prices. Some pieces required assembly so purchasing the add-on delivery service was a good deal. The furniture is sturdy and looks good. I have had to request replacement of a few pieces due to poor workmanship, e.g., uneven joints, warped wood, etc. Customer service has been quick and easy to make the replacements. And delivery service is on-time, with day-before delivery window notification and day-of delivery tracking.
