Wonderful service

Great service with a genuine, honest salesperson. Adamaris was such a great help, and knew all the different questions we had. When we return for more furniture we will ask for her specifically.

Customer service related to delivery has been extremely poor. We paid extra for "Standard Delivery" so that our bedroom furniture could be brought to our upstairs bedroom and the packaging would be taken away. The delivery service used by Rooms to Go sent two people to carry a 200-lb box (with no handles or spots to grip) up a flight of stairs. When the delivery team was physically unable to carry the box up the stairs, they ended up just leaving the box in my dining room and leaving. From that point on, I spent hours on the phone and chat with Rooms to Go that day. Almost everyone I spoke with was condescending and tried to blame me because "the stairway is too small for the box," while I tried to explain to them that the issue was that the box was too heavy for TWO people to carry up a flight of stairs, and that they needed to send more people to help. They insisted to me that two people is the standard team size and that this was an extremely uncommon problem caused by my stairs being too small. In the end, they offered to set up another delivery (to bring the furniture upstairs and unpack it) or refund $35 of the nearly $200 delivery fee I paid (I find this extremely unacceptable, especially considering the fact that between the moving team showing up an hour after the 4-hour delivery window and the time spent on the phone with customer service, this debacle wasted 6+ hours of my weekend). I requested another team that would be capable of carrying a heavy piece of furniture upstairs, but Rooms to Go refused to send more than two employees and also told me that they would not carry any special equipment (the original delivery team did not have any equipment besides a small carpet end dolly). After several weeks, they never sent another delivery team, and my husband and his brother were able to carry the dresser up the stairs by using moving straps.
