Very Disappointed With the Quality Last year, I decided to upgrade my old couch and chose Rooms To Go because I expected better quality from a well-known furniture company. Unfortunately, that was a big mistake. I purchased an oversized L-shaped sectional, and only a year after the purchase, the small noises it made whenever someone sat on it became louder and louder. We barely use the couch, so I initially thought something inside had broken. I decided to investigate and I opened the black fabric underneath the sofa. What I found was extremely disappointing. There was no broken part—instead, I was shocked to see how the sofa was constructed: plywood, cardboard, glue, and staples. For the price Rooms To Go charges for its furniture, I expected a much better level of quality and durability. A sofa should not start making increasingly loud noises after only a year (noise started 8-9 months after the purchase) especially when it is not heavily used. What a shame, Rooms To Go. I chose your company because I trusted the name and expected quality, but this experience has completely changed my opinion. Customers deserve to know what they are paying for, especially when furniture is advertised and priced as quality furniture. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a sofa from Rooms To Go to look carefully at the construction and consider whether the quality justifies the price.
