Very Disappointed – Poor Customer Service at Rooms To Go outlet in Brookshire, TX, near Katy and Houston TX. I spent around $8,000 at Rooms To Go furnishing multiple rooms, including purchasing a sofa bed and computer desk for my study. The delivery team couldn’t set up the sofa bed on the first visit because it arrived damaged, so we couldn’t tell whether the sofa bed and desk would fit together in the room. Several weeks later, when they returned with the replacement sofa bed, it became clear that it did not fit in the study along with the large desk. I contacted a Rooms To Go representative, who assured me that if something isn’t right at the time of delivery, the item can be exchanged. He advised me to speak with the salesperson who sold us the furniture. However, when I went to the store, the manager refused to help and said I should have called the store the day the desk was delivered. Since the sofa bed and desk were purchased as a set—and the sofa bed wasn’t even installed at the time—I had no way of knowing they wouldn’t fit together. After spending $8,000, I expected at least a reasonable solution or a simple exchange, especially after being told it was possible. Instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude and zero willingness to help. This experience has left me deeply disappointed. With customer service like this, I don’t understand why anyone would choose to shop at Rooms To Go. I truly regret giving them my business and will not return. They clearly do not value their customers.
