I will say that the sales representatives at this location were very nice and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the management and delivery team was completely different. In my experience, their behavior was rude, unprofessional, and extremely questionable. Last year, I purchased an entire bedroom set from Rooms To Go. We scheduled a delivery date, but the delivery drivers never showed up. What made the situation worse was that they reported to corporate that they had attempted the delivery and that no one was home. They even claimed to have taken a picture of the front of our house as proof. These claims were completely false. When I tried contacting Rooms To Go by phone to resolve the issue, the representatives I spoke with were rude and dismissive. I eventually had to go to the store in person to address the situation myself. When I spoke with the manager, he provided me with a printed copy of the picture the delivery drivers had submitted as evidence. To basically shut me up. Thankfully, he gave me a physical copy because it turned out to be an important piece of evidence. You will not believe what these delivery drivers submitted as proof of their attempted delivery. They had taken a screenshot of our house from Apple Maps and cropped the image! The problem? Our house no longer looks like that. I took an actual picture of the front of our home and compared it with the image the manager had printed for me. The difference was clear. I showed the manager what our house actually looked like, exposing the discrepancy in the delivery drivers’ so-called proof. Did the manager apologize? No. Instead, he simply instructed his staff to issue me a full refund. If you order furniture for delivery, I strongly recommend having security cameras installed at the front of your home. Keep documentation of your scheduled delivery dates and any communication with the company. Hopefully, you will never need it, but having evidence can make a huge difference if a dispute arises. Also, be aware of the cancellation policy. In my experience, canceling an order because of a failed delivery could mean losing 20% of what you originally paid. Needless to say, I will never ever step foot in a rooms to go because it seems like this company doesn’t manage their delivery system as well.
