I went with my son to purchase a new bedroom set to the rooms to go in Metairie Louisiana. I want to say that the wonderful lady who helped us, her name is Imari, Provided the best customer service Experience that I have received in a very long time. The traits she exhibited are exactly the ones every customer service professional should aspire to have as a standard. She was very warm, friendly, understanding, very pleasant, worked with my son twice prior to my going with him and was pretty spectacular as a person. She was able to help us coordinate the best options and we are very happy to have purchased furniture from rooms to go because of Imari. In fact, I would make a strong recommendation that perhaps new sales people and maybe even older sales people who have lost their customer service luster should shadow her to reignite their customer service deliverables. My son went back the day after he first worked with Imari because he had a few questions. Unfortunately, the experience he had with a different sales rep was basically the opposite and very much substandard. In fact, he told me that the person was not interested in helping him and was not positively responding to his inquiries. She was aloof and did not seem interested in helping him. So I went back with him the next day and found Imari. And we purchased the bedroom set. Apparently, the other person is known for not providing the best guest experience and even the people behind the counter doing the purchase paperwork new of her. Fortunately, Imari saved the entire experience for us. She is amazing. I would hire her in a heartbeat. She is the reason I gave the experience five stars. Pika Sdrougias

We spent almost $3K on a love seat with two chaise lounge chairs and it's falling apart at the seams! We've had it for 2.5 years AND we bought the extended 3 year warranty with Fortegra. Within the first 12 months we filed a claim about this issue. The tech did a really shoddy job, using a bright blue thread you can see in one of the pictures, that came apart within a couple of months. We called in 2024 and was denied because "some" manufacturer defects are not covered. Same dog and pony show when we called this year HOWEVER when we went into the store to speak to a manager we were informed we 100% SHOULD be covered and handed a flyer from Fortegra that clearly states seam separation is covered. Of 4 seats and 4 back cushions 75% of them have separated at the seams. We asked the manager to put in a complaint 3 weeks ago and haven't heard back. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB. This is an asset that is far too expensive to be falling apart, and has been, within the first year of purchase. UPDATED: Rooms to Go took care of us and is replacing our couch cost, even though Fortegra would not. I have serious doubts about Fortegra. We are still paying at out of pocket cost of almost $1K, the associates were adamant that their furniture made in Mississippi is much higher quality than our couch, made in Vietnam. WE'LL SEE!
