Extremely Disappointing Customer Service and Warranty Experience We spent a considerable amount of time choosing a couch from Rooms To Go and ultimately spent over $2,000 on it. Unfortunately, within just a few months, the couch developed what we were told was a manufacturer defect. The most frustrating part is what happened afterward. Because the couch has since been discontinued, we were told that it cannot be repaired or replaced. Instead of refunding our money, Rooms To Go is only offering store credit and we were told that this credit is only available for a limited amount of time (30 days). We went into the store in person to look at other couches and try to find something comparable. Unfortunately, there was nothing that was remotely similar to what we originally purchased. We also tried to discuss our options and find a reasonable solution, but our experience with the sales associate, Ashley, was particularly disappointing. Ashley was extremely hostile and unprofessional throughout the conversation. Before we could even finish asking questions or explain what we were looking for, she would interrupt with responses such as “Nope, store credit only” and repeatedly tell us that we only had a few days to make a decision. We understand that products can have defects and that discontinued items can create complications. What we do not understand is why the customer is left with a broken product, no repair or replacement, no refund, and essentially pressured into accepting store credit for a product that we don't want and cannot find a suitable replacement for. After spending over $2,000 with Rooms To Go, we expected much better customer service and a much better resolution. The way this situation has been handled has left us extremely disappointed. We are very unhappy with both the resolution and the customer service we received, and based on this experience, we will seriously reconsider purchasing from Rooms To Go again.
