We purchased the extended warranty from Rooms To Go expecting it to provide peace of mind, but it has been a complete waste of money. Our first claim was for a Drew & Jonathan sofa with badly misaligned cushions. We were told the issue wasn’t covered because cushions are excluded and only the frame is covered. Later, our table developed a broken frame. This time, Fortegra denied the claim, saying the frame wasn’t covered under the warranty. They also pointed to a few scratches on the table as another reason to deny the claim. So what exactly does this extended warranty cover? Every time we’ve filed a claim, we’ve been given a different reason why it isn’t covered. It feels like the warranty is designed to find exclusions instead of helping customers when something actually goes wrong. I would not recommend purchasing the extended warranty sold through Rooms To Go and administered by Fortegra. Save your money and read the fine print carefully before buying, because our experience has been nothing but disappointment.
Rooms to Go... right in the trash. Don't be fooled folks! Quality of anything you buy at Rooms to Go is junk. Save you money. Your furnature will fall apart just as it's paid off IF you're lucky. This happened with our couch and kitchen chairs. It's all low quality, low grade materials that are not designed to last. I'm not the only one to have these issues. My MIL has a couch that rarely gets used and it's also delaminating with their genuine fake leather that's just shredded cheap leather bits glued to a backing that cracks after a few years. It LOOKS good new but don't be fooled. Buyer beware
