Worst sales person I’ve ever experienced in the kids area. One of the first questions I asked him was if any of the beds were in stock, he said yes, most of them. Well, 20 minutes later we decided on a bed and he tells me it can get to us by a specific date. I told him you said items were in stock, his response “in stock can mean many things”. No man, it’s retail, it’s either here or not. To add to it, his attitude was so smug and he was smacking his gum in our face the entire time. What a joke of a sales person.

I am writing this complaint to express the concern and upsetting feelings that I am feeling right now and not just me but my daughter as well. To update on this situation I came to the rooms to go located in cypress Tx since it is nearby my home to look for a crib set for my daughters baby since that is what I was going to gift to her. We went into the store and found one she liked and it was a complete set that was a part of the Disney collection that had Winnie the Pooh figurines on it. It was on the pricier side but to me that didn’t matter since my grandchild deserved it since he has been more than 2 months in the nicu and I wanted him to come home to a beautiful crib and changing table. When we were looking at the crib we had asked if there was one that didn’t have the design to see what the price difference was and when we asked the sales agent Robert he said that the crib and changing table came with the Winnie the Pooh design and that they didn’t have one without the design but in the end we ended up going with it since the crib and changing table was cute with the design. When we purchased it we were told to pick it up at the rooms to go warehouse and when we went to go pick it up they didn’t want to give it to us since they told us the order had been canceled and this was unbelievable to us. In the end we figured out why this happened the sales agent Robert gave us the wrong receipt. Then we called the store asking for Robert and he never answered the phone then we told them to look it up by my name and phone number and they found it. Which should have been the first red flag to us especially since a similar issue happened a few years back that rooms to go messed up on an order we had that is why we hadn’t come back to this company but my daughter wanted to see what they had and she had feel in love with the Winnie the Pooh crib. When my son in law had time after work to set up the crib he saw something unbelievable and immediately texted my daughter. He sent an image to her showing her that this was not the crib she ordered it was similar in design but it didn’t have the Winnie the Pooh figurines on it. Which made my daughter extremely angry and we headed to the store to see why this happened. When we got to the store we asked to speak with the manager which we had been talking to him the store manager Ammad. We told him everything that went on and as we were explaining to him the situation he let us know that the crib came without the design and that if we wanted the design it would be $250 extra and he would have it delivered for free to my home but that is not the principle. The principle is that we were lied to and falsely advertised by the sales person Robert that the crib and changing table came with the design. Paying over $2k for a crib and changing table expecting to have the design on it and just to be told that I had to pay an additional $250 on top of that was unacceptable especially since we had been lied to! We asked the store manager Ammad to call over Robert so he could see that we had been lied to and when he called him over he had admitted that he gave us the wrong information and also that he did not give us a proper receipt and instead of taking responsibility and remedying his mistake since we had fallen in love with the design they had insisted to call customer and to put a complaint if we didn’t want to pay the $250 and for the receipt they just started blaming each other instead of taking responsibility. This is not about the money but more about how we were falsely advertised and how my daughter who has already gone through enough with her baby being in the nicu for 2 almost 3 months get the crib and changing table that they loved be something that they didn’t want. This is a complete fraud and horrible work ethic that rooms to go has going on. I am completely disappointed in this company and hope they don’t deceive there customers any longer.
