Beautiful showroom. I didn’t get to enjoy it much because Leonard didn’t give me a chance. He should respect boundaries. I told him I was just browsing. I really didn’t want to go through any applications yet. I had a few pieces in mind but still wanted to see the other collections in my budget. Leonard also assumed I lived in a 500 sqft apartment apparently, because he kept asking me if I was sure everything would fit. Yes I’m sure everything will fit in my 850 sqft apartment. Very condescending. He then proceeded to tally up an invoice with other fees he did not disclose to me so I was quoted $201 more than I have already been looking at online. He also attempted to not tell me all about ALL of the finance options available in order to push the credit card. I wish they had just left me alone. So since they insisted that I put Leonard’s name on something: here it is. Leonard will not be getting a commission from me. I will not be back into your location and I will be doing everything else online or at a different location because SOME of your salesmen apparently think black women are slow and live in tiny apartments and don’t deserve to be respected when they say they just want to look around. I observed each one of the salesmen men before I walked in myself and noticed all of the couples were allowed to enter without being harassed yet I was taken advantage of because I was alone. Very predatory and for all of this, I won’t be back.
SYED ALI has personable, helpful, and didn't pressure or hover. Great deal on a closeout media center with fireplace. Good experience and I'd look for Syed again if I needed anything else from Rooms to Go.
