REVIEWS DO NOT LIE, PEOPLE. Read the reviews before you buy! I am beyond disappointed with Rooms To Go and their ridiculous policies. I spent thousands of dollars on a sectional that looked completely different once it was delivered to my home. After seeing how awful it looked in my space, I immediately called customer service. I called the same night I received the furniture, but they were closed. When I finally reached someone barely 24 hours after delivery, I was told that because the furniture is already in my house, I can’t return it. That is an absolutely absurd policy for such an expensive purchase. Furniture is not cheap, and it’s impossible to know how a piece will truly look and fit until it’s inside your home. Any company with integrity would understand that and allow reasonable returns. Instead, Rooms To Go hides behind a “no returns after delivery” rule that punishes customers the moment their truck drives away. They offered to let me “exchange it,” but honestly, all of their furniture looks cheap, dated and poor quality. I don’t want an exchange — I just want my money back. I’m not calling a week later — I called the very next day. I don’t understand how a company of this size can operate with such terrible customer service and zero flexibility. The only reason they do this is to keep your money. They are liars. The salesperson specifically told me I could return the item if it didn’t work out, and that was a complete lie. Don’t tell customers they can return something when that’s not the case. Other furniture stores at least charge a small restocking fee — which is fair — but forcing customers to keep something they bought less than a day ago is ridiculous. Save yourself the frustration and go to any other furniture store that actually values its customers. I will never shop here again, and I’ll make sure everyone I know avoids Rooms To Go as well. Their products are poor quality, their policies are unfair, and their corporate team clearly values profit over people. This is worth reporting to the Better Business Bureau.
