First, I want to be fair and honest in this review. My experience with my sales representative, Chris, was absolutely impeccable. He was professional, helpful, and made the purchasing process smooth from start to finish. I have furnished three homes with Rooms To Go over the years and continued returning because the no-interest financing offers are genuinely attractive if you choose to take advantage of them. However, speaking as a loyal customer, I do feel that some of the company’s pricing practices are unethical and unfair. I completely understand that pricing can vary based on many factors — brand name, materials, design, exclusivity, and overall quality. I have no problem paying for quality furniture. But recently, I purchased an additional piece for a new property that left me extremely disappointed once I later discovered the actual market pricing. On 4/18/2026, I purchased the Stephenson Light Gray 3-Piece 78” set, which cost $2,299.99 before taxes and delivery fees. Not long after, I was bragging about the piece to a friend who shops at another furniture store "Exclusive" . She invited me to come with her one Saturday, and to my surprise, they had what appeared to be the exact same furniture set for $599.99. I was honestly disgusted. I spoke with the manager there, who explained that the piece is manufactured by Ashley Furniture and that many retailers simply rename the collections while selling the identical furniture. Again, I understand markup exists in retail — but this price difference was astronomical and difficult to justify. What made it even more frustrating was learning that this was not a promotional cash price or clearance deal. That was simply their standard retail price. They also offered free delivery and an additional discount for cash purchases. I have always been a Rooms To Go customer and genuinely enjoyed shopping there, which is why this experience was so disappointing. As a loyal customer, seeing such a massive markup felt unfair and honestly changed my perspective quite a bit.
Found the perfect furniture that’s extremely comfortable. I came in to buy a sectional and Tolisha showed me a high top dining table that fits 6. I fell in love with it and purchased it as well. Excellent sales lady that was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Make sure to ask for Tolisha, she was the best!
I had wonderful shopping experience with Chris at Rooms to Go. He was thorough and took his time showing me and my mother bedroom sets. For individuals seeking furniture, Rooms to Go is a highly recommended establishment.
