The extended warranty at Rooms To Go means absolutely nothing. I remember when we purchased the furniture being reassured that the extended warranty was worth it and would protect us if any issues came up. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. A technician came out to inspect my furniture and told me it had a manufacturing defect. He said he would absolutely recommend that it be replaced. Based on his assessment, I felt confident the issue would be resolved. Instead, Rooms To Go called me today and said they are classifying the problem as a “design flaw” and that the extended warranty does not cover it. Apparently, if the furniture is poorly designed rather than improperly manufactured, you’re out of luck. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with was unable to connect me with anyone else who could review or assist with my claim. They provided excellent customer service when it came to purchasing the furniture, but don’t care to continue that after they have your money. I paid for the extended warranty expecting peace of mind and protection when problems arose. Instead, I’ve been left with defective furniture and no meaningful support. Save yourself the frustration and purchase your furniture elsewhere.
Ian was phenomenal at The Woodlands location. I can’t express how thankful I am for his patience, knowledge, kindness, and then some. He stayed an hour past closing to help us finish up. I’m so excited for our new table and chairs, new bed, and new mattress! Thank you so much, Ian!!
