⭐ Unethical Practices, Manipulation, and Deliberate Obstruction My recent experience with Rooms To Go has been extremely disappointing and honestly shocking. After being solicited heavily to complete a purchase, the moment I attempted to cancel my order—well within the 48-hour window—the treatment I received completely changed. For three days straight, I attempted to contact someone capable of processing a cancellation. Instead, I was transferred repeatedly stated the rep that assisted will contact me or the supervisor was either not available or would contact me NEVER HAPPENED, placed on excessive holds, promised call-backs that never happened, and given false expectations at every turn. It became very clear that this delay was deliberate and designed to push me past the cancellation period so the company could keep 20% of my funds. I was yelled at BY AN EMPLOYEE named Mai who was extremely rude and unprofessional when I explained to her that she did not understand the policy of my purchase was made on the 6th and I’ve attempted to cancel since the 7th with the constant avoidance which she would eventually hand up on, and belittled simply for requesting a cancellation. When I called customer care about a text message that appeared to provide options, I was told I could not cancel at all outside of speaking directly to the store another delay attempt especially considering that they close at 7pm. The system intentionally offers no cancel option, only the ability to change the delivery date, and I was even threatened with being labeled as “order abandonment” if I refused the merchandise which could include ADDITIONAL fees. The entire structure is clearly intentionally built to make it nearly impossible to back out of a sale once they’ve secured your payment. IF YOU ARE A CASH PAYING CUSTOMER and not caught off guard by the finance options— Rooms To Go solicits aggressively for the purchase, but the moment you exercise your right to cancel, you are met with hostility, obstruction, and misinformation. Both my husband and I have complete call logs and evidence showing exactly when and how many times we contacted them, clearly within the 48-hour period. Despite this, we were continuously redirected back to the store in a loop of contradictions and outright lies—until they finally attempted to claim we were “calling after the deadline,” which is untrue but finally all of a sudden I was able to speak to the sales agent who confirmed she had been very busy which would explains the failed call back and how she would process the cancellation and I would receive an email ..NOTHING I have not received this merchandise, do not plan to receive it, and I no longer wish to do business with Rooms To Go or any of its sales representatives. The way we were treated was unprofessional, shady, and manipulative, and no customer should have to endure this just to cancel an order they no longer want. If your intention was to purchase the furniture I can see why you would appear to be a “happy customer” But between their manipulated price gouging— fees and tax on every single thing and then the manipulation I am absolutely done— if you are giving them money your experience is GOOD— if you’re asking for your money back — GOOD LUCK WITH GETTING THE ACTUAL REFUND— I will never shop with this location ever again.

My very first bedroom set came from Rooms To Go, so when I recently lost all my possessions and had to start over, I knew exactly where to go. I went straight back to Rooms To Go, and I’m so glad I did. Kendall, the manager with the beard, went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t just like my replacement pieces—I absolutely loved them. His compassion and patience meant more than he knows. Hailey in customer service also helped me navigate a few bumps along the way, and her kindness made a huge difference. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt such genuine care and understanding from people working within a large organization. It’s very clear that both Kendall and Hailey truly enjoy what they do, and they take pride in helping customers. I am so grateful for the time they spent making this rebuilding process as smooth and positive as possible. Thank you, Rooms To Go, for turning a difficult situation into a hopeful new beginning.

I recently went to Rooms To Go store for a mattress to buy in Houston. Miss Nadira Tania greeted me at the entrance. She asked me for my specific needs. She described all the brands in the store, and then narrowed it down to my specific needs. I ended up with the exact mattress that I was looking for.
