On Friday, May 8, 2026, around 6:50 PM, my daughter and I visited the Rooms To Go location in Arlington, TX, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Several sales associates were sitting on the furniture eating snacks and playing on their cell phones, yet not one employee greeted us or offered assistance. One employee even walked directly past us, looked us in the face, and still chose not to acknowledge us. As paying customers, we should not have been made to feel invisible or unwelcome. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic courtesy was unacceptable. The atmosphere in the store felt very uncomfortable and unwelcoming, and as African-American customers, the experience left us feeling singled out and disrespected. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this location and will continue spending our hard-earned money at businesses like Nebraska Furniture Mart and Home Zone Furniture, where customers are acknowledged, respected, and treated professionally. Rooms To Go seriously needs to address the customer service issues at this location and do better.
