This was our first time buying furniture at Rooms To Go. We had a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to getting our new family room set!!

Buyer Beware: Zero Return Policy on Showroom Floors! I went to Rooms to Go on Monday to browse, made an impulse buy on a couch and dining table, and had them delivered on Wednesday. The delivery turned into a total mess. The new couch was meant to replace my downstairs sectional, which I planned to move upstairs. However, the movers couldn't get the sectional upstairs. Since the sectional had to stay downstairs, I no longer needed or had room for the new couch. Even though the new couch was still fully wrapped in plastic, the movers refused to take it back, saying it is a "whole process," and left it in my garage. My sales rep, Toney, was great, but corporate refused to help. I asked to credit the amount back to my Rooms To Go Synchrony card to use later, but they said no. Because it was bought off the showroom floor, there are no refunds. They told me I could only exchange it for something of equal value, but since it was an impulse buy, there was nothing else I wanted or needed. I also learned a major lesson about their delivery options: Toney recommended Rodney’s Moving Company (a third party), and if you use a third party, they flat-out refuse to take items back on the spot. But if you use Rooms To Go delivery, they hit you with a restocking fee plus another delivery fee just to swap it. Be absolutely sure of your space and delivery plans before buying here. Even if your furniture is untouched and still in the plastic, you cannot get your money back and other fees will be involved!
